NexGard
NexGard (afoxolaner) is FDA-approved for veterinarian use and demonstrated 100% effectiveness against adult fleas 24 hours post-infestation for 35 days. NexGard rapidly kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) infestations, for the control of newly acquired adult fleas, and for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). Following administration, fleas are killed within 6-8 hours. Rapid onset of action kills newly acquired fleas before they can lay eggs.
How NexGard works
Effective flea control with NexGard prevents flea tapeworm infestation in dogs. Nexgard treats and controls Paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus), Brown Dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus), treatment and control of American Dog tick (Dermacentor variabilis), and Bush ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis) for one month. NexGard provides effective control of pre-existing Paralysis tick infestations within 24 hours. Ixodes holocyclus ticks do not occur in Western Australia.
NexGard treats and controls demodectic mange caused by Demodex spp., sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei, and ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations.

How can NexGard be administered to dogs?
NexGard is a soft, highly palatable chewable and is readily consumed by dogs when offered as a treat. Alternatively, NexGard may be added intact to a small amount of dog food. Care should be taken that the dog consumes the complete dose, and treated dogs should be observed for a few minutes to ensure that part of the dose is not lost or rejected. If it is suspected that any of the dose has been lost, treat again with another full dose.
The recommended dosage is 2.5 mg per kg bodyweight:

For dogs over 50 kg, administer the appropriate combination of chewables.
For optimal performance, treat your dog on or about the same day each month.
Is NexGard safe for dogs?
NexGard was shown to be safe in various breeds of dogs and in puppies 8 weeks and older. NexGard may be administered in conjunction with gastrointestinal worm or heartworm treatments administered according to label directions. Afoxolaner is part of the isoxazoline family of chemicals. Adverse reactions to this family of chemicals are rarely observed but may include vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy, inappetance, itching, and very rarely, seizures. Most adverse reactions are self-limiting and of short duration. If you have any concerns, please speak to your veterinarian.

The best who cares
Nexgard is the safest easiest way to beat the battle with ticks and fleas. A actual chewable tablet that dog will eat. My Australian shepherd had eight puppies and not flea or tick was found on a puppy why they were nursing. I live out in a wood area and I do not even have ticks biting any of my seven dogs unlike frontline, where you find dead ticks on the dogs your dogs. Joes pet med is the best around I tell all my Military friends and those who got puppies and kittens from me. All have switch to the best and that is the most effordabe. good stuff
This company is awesome, i got my order in 10 days and they saved me a vet visit and it was half the price of any where that i could buy it on line, and it is exactly the same product. Awesome! Steve
Maggie loves this
She does not hesitate to eat the chewable tablet. It keeps the fleas off, I never see one and Maggie is short haired and light colored. She occasionally gets a tick but the head is never buried, they just pluck right off very easily.
Much better product!
We used Frontline for years until it stopped working for my dog. NexGard is much better--no mess, easy to give to my dog, and no side effects. Best of all, no greasy fur! No problems with fleas or ticks since we switched. The only negative is the cost.

I love Joe's, I have told many people about them. Love this product it is so nice not to have to use that messy stuff anymore and the dogs gobble it right up. So sick of Vets charging so much for medication, they know you need it so they mark it way up. Thanks Joe's!
Better than frontline
We used frontline for years for our dogs, but our recent move to Georgia, and attack of fleas in our home caused us to make a switch. We have used Nexgard for 5the last year and couldn't be happier. No fleas and no oily hair on our dog's backs.
Bye bye little annoying fleas
Love this product. Works fast and is very effective. My dogs think it's just a tasty treat that they get once a month.

Would not use anything else
My Pomeranian has been on this since I got him at 4 months. He has a beautiful thick long coat and sleeps with me. Never a flea or tick with this product. I am very pleased with the ease of use since he loves the way these taste. He does his little dance every morning when he gets next to this cabinet thinking he will get a treat for taking these. They taste so good, he thinks they are treats.
