Revolution for Cats & Dogs
Revolution is a safe and simple way to protect your pet from a range of common parasites. It prevents heartworm disease while treating and controlling fleas (including flea eggs and larvae) and ear mites in both cats and dogs, hookworms and roundworms in cats and sarcoptes mites in dogs. This effective medication is applied to the skin of your pet once a month.
How Revolution for Cats & Dogs works
After applying, Revolution is quickly absorbed into your pet’s bloodstream, skin, and hair, killing fleas, heartworm, and other parasites that can harm your pet. Revolution will then protect your pet for an entire month. As Revolution moves into your pet’s skin and hair, it goes straight to killing fleas, flea larvae, flea eggs, and other external parasites.

What is the proper administration of Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Revolution Flea Control is a once-a-month topical application for dogs and cats. Application is quick and easy and the product should only be applied to a dry animal. The product is waterproof, therefore, normal bathing, swimming, etc. can continue after two hours.
The correct tube size should be selected for each animal and individual tubes should not be shared between several animals. The cap on the tube should be pushed downwards onto the tube until a "click" is heard and then the cap should be removed. The hair at the base of the neck should be parted to skin level and the entire contents of the tube squeezed onto this area. Do not rub in the liquid.
The concentration of the active ingredient in the Revolution for Dog and Revolution for Cat products is different so the correct package should be used for the correct breed as noted on the package label.
The doses and pack sizes are as follows:
Revolution for Cats
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Cats up to 7.5kg - blue pack
Revolution for Dogs
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Very small dogs 2.6-5kg - purple pack
Small dogs 5-10kg - brown pack
Medium dogs 10-20kg - red pack
Large dogs 20-40kg - teal pack
For dogs larger than 40kg - use the appropriate combination of sizes.
What are the precautions when using Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Prior to the administration of Revolution, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. At the discretion of the veterinarian, infected dogs should be treated to remove adult heartworms. Revolution is not effective against adult D. immitis and, while the number of circulating microfilariae may decrease following treatment, Revolution is not effective for microfilariae clearance.
Hypersensitivity reactions have not been observed in dogs with patent heartworm infections administered three times the recommended dose of Revolution. Higher doses were not tested.

Revolution for dogs
I have been using Revolution for dog for years and have been getting it from Joes Pet Med for about 7 years with great results and fast delivery. Last year had a pet 17 1/2 years old past after a very healthy long life on Revolution. Currently have a 16 1/2 year old and a two year old all doing great on Revolution. I live in a southern state in the USA so fleas and ticks could be a real problem...but not with revolution. Also heart worms are often a problem but Revolution covers all three. A very good product with great track record. Thanks Joes Pet Med for making it affordable and keeping my pets healthy!
Excellent Product
I have been using Revolution and Joe's Pet Meds for years! My dogs have avoided many flea outbreaks my friends' dogs have not been so lucky to avoid while using Revolution. Joe's has the best prices and is always reliable. I have recommended both to my friends.

Flea control is superb and ear mite control is a definite plus for my cats. We've never seen a tick on these cats - so tick control must be pretty awesome too. We love the convenience and cost savings of ordering from Joe's. Thanks Joe!
Best for cats
This works great for so many things fleas ticks internal parasites and ear mites. I've used it for many years, maybe 10 now and will not use anything else. I always buy from Joe's they have the absolute best prices for pet supplies. Lee
Great Product
Revolution is amazing. It is alcohol based, so it does not go on greasy at all. I have found it to be highly effective for my indoor cats, outdoor cats, and even strays that were already massively infested with fleas, earmites AND worms.

Wonderful product that I've used for years. It protects my cats and dogs from so many potential problems. EASY to use on the pet. Simply part the hair at the top base of the neck and squirt it on...no need to rub it in. Most of my pets don't even know that they have been treated...Love this product!
Flea control
I have used Revolution for over 8 years on my cats and dog with excellent results and would not use anything else. Joe's Pet Meds has always had the lowest price and best service of all pet med suppliers that I tried. I recommend both the product and the supplier wholeheartedly.
Revolution is awesome stuff!!!
We have 7 wonderful kitty-cats and they were suffering with a flea infestation until we found Revolution. The constant itching and scratching and licking was causing them to be unsociable and grumpy, not to mention their hair was thinning. But after one treatment with Revolution they started acting like their loving playful selves again and find this wonderful flea treatment so reasonable through Joe's Pet Meds was an answer to our prayers.
