My heartworm preventative of choice has always been Advantage Multi, aka Advocate (in AU) as it has always kept my personal animals free of fleas, mites, roundworms, hookworms, and heartworms. I run a dog rescue in the South, where heartworms are a huge problem, and I protect the dogs I rescue with Advocate as well.

The lowest price I have ever found for a 6 pk. for XL dogs (over 55 lbs.) cost $18 MORE than Joe's. To some, $18 may not seem like a lot, but for those of us in rescue, that will cover four puppy shots, and we need every price break available. Thank you so much !!

You can't beat the fast service and the great prices at Joe's Pet Meds. If you get the same items at the vet you will pay 2 to 3 times more and it is the same product. It makes no sense not to buy your heartguard and flea treatment where you can save money: Joe's Pet Meds.
