Advantage Multi (Advocate)
Advantage Multi is known as Advocate in Australia and the UK. Pet Shed sells the Australian or UK packaged version of Advantage Multi (Advocate). Advocate offers protection against multiple parasites in one easy-to-administer topical monthly dose – no need to battle with tablets!
Treat and prevent fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) in both dogs and cats with Advantage Multi and include it as part of a routine treatment regime for Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD). With Advantage Multi, you can also fight ear mites (Otodectes cyanotis) and prevent heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis), and several intestinal worms in dogs and cats including roundworm, heartworm, lungworm, and whipworm.
How Advantage Multi (Advocate) works
After application, the active ingredient imidacloprid spreads across the skin and coat, killing existing fleas within 12 hours. After this time, re-infesting fleas are affected by the active ingredient in 3-5 minutes and killed within 1 hour, on contact. Imidacloprid is shed into the environment as your pet sheds the skin and fur, killing flea larvae within 20 minutes. This helps break the flea lifecycle.
Advantage Multi’s unique formula prevents heartworm disease in cats and dogs while controlling fleas, roundworms, and hookworms, and ear mites in both species and whipworms, Sarcoptes and Demodex mites in dogs. Advantage Multi works rapidly to control fleas, killing over 98% of adult fleas within 12 hours of application. Protecting your pet against common parasites has never been easier with this fantastic new product.
What are the active ingredients in Advantage Multi (Advocate)?
Active ingredients:

- moxidectin
How can Advantage Multi be administered to dogs and cats?
Advantage Multi is applied topically to the skin on the back of the neck – usually once a month or every four weeks. It should be applied to an area where your pet cannot reach to lick it off, usually between the shoulder blades.
The dose of Advantage Multi required will depend on your pet’s weight and comes in several strengths so that any sized animal can be given an accurate dose. Advantage Multi can be given safely alongside most veterinary medicines.
Dogs – 10mg/kg bodyweight imidacloprid and 2.5mg/kg bodyweight moxidectin. This equates to 0.1ml/kg bodyweight Advocate dog solution.
Cats – 10mg/kg imidacloprid and 1mg/kg moxidectin. This equates to 0.1ml/kg Advocate cat solution.
Use the top of the cap to break seal of tube. Part hair between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube firmly to apply the solution directly to the skin.

Easy, quick, economical
This product is easy to use, just part the fur at the back of the head and apply to skin. I love that I only need to use it once a month. Since there is no cure for feline heartworm and I live in an area of the country that has seen many cases, I am thankful to have this both for my pet and it's kind to my pocketbook. Quick, easy, economical. Because with heartworm and cats, there are no second chances.
Advocate for dogs
Have tried many other products and finally was directed to Joe's Pet Meds. Advocate worked on getting rid of the fleas and at a reasonable price. So glad I have discovered Joe's Pet Meds.
Advocate for dogs
I have tried other products in the past and none have killed the fleas on my dogs except this one. The added bonus is that it prevents heartworms and my dogs have always tested negative for heartworms. Love this product and would recommend to anyone.
LOVED IT
I HAVE BEEN USING JOE PET MEDS FOR OVER 8 YEARS. THE PRODUCTS ARE GREAT AND AFFORDABLE . I USED THIS ON MY BIG DOGS THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT. NOTHING LIKE ONLY REMEMBERING THIS ONE APPLICATION A MONTH IN STEAD OF 2 OR 3. THIS HAS EVERYTHING YOUR DOG NEEDS TO PROTECT THEM . LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
Best Stuff Ever
Having grown up with a crazy cat lady for a mother, back in the days before flea control was available, I know how fast they multiply. Now, as a middle-aged crazy cat lady in my own right, I don't have to suffer any more and neither do the cats. As a former TNR person I have many cats who never got to the "R" part and are not always the most trusting. One application takes care of multiple problems so there is less drama for both us! I rarely see a flea on any of them. And I use it on my Beagle too!
Amazing Advocate
Advocate is one of the best things out there to cover ever flea, tick, round worms, ringworms and most of all Heartworms. I have been using this product since I have had my 2 dogs and 1 cat. I have never had a problem with anything while they have been on this product. I would truly say this is the items to get for your pets.
HANDS DOWN THE BEST FLEA CONTROL !!
I have tried several of the so called "best flea control" products, and out of them all, Advocate (advantage 2) works the best out of them all, frontline especially did the worst, this is the only product I have found that keeps flea's and ear mites off of my cat, I have been now using this product for years and buy 90% of the product from Joe's. I would recommend this to any one that has cats that spend any time at all out side, my cat spends half her time out side, I live in he south east United States which is known for being very bad for flea's and ticks. know this product does not say it works with ticks but from what I can tell it does and does so very well.. again, joe's pet meds is the place to go for all your pets needs !!
Advantae Multi
Living in the country makes it impossible to control the pests in the yard. With this product I have never worried about fleas and ticks on the dogs. Great product

I love this product for it's wide range of protection. It works well on my indoor and outdoor cats. No signs of fleas, ticks, or mites! And no adverse reactions, either! :)
Advantage Multi
I have been using this product since we rescued a half dead feral kitten from the side of the street. When we took him to out veterinarian, he had ear mites, intestinal worms, upper respiratory infection, fleas, etc. She recommended we use Advantage Multi for the kitten's many problems so as to keep him well once we had taken care of his many problems. I began using it not only for the kitten, but for the other two cats as well. I have been pleased with its ability to keep all our pets healthy and flea free.
