I wanted something that covered more than just fleas. The spot-on treatment is really easy to apply just once a month on the back of the neck and it only takes a few seconds. My cat didn’t seem bothered by it at all.
What I like most is that it protects against several things at once. Besides killing fleas, it also helps prevent heartworm and treats common parasites like ear mites and intestinal worms, which makes it feel like a more complete protection.
After using it for a few months I haven’t seen any fleas, and my cat seems happy and healthy. It’s been a really convenient way to keep up with parasite protection without needing multiple medications.

I have been buying Advocate/Advantage for my dogs for years from Joe's Pet meds since they started in fact. Company is great, reliable and easy to use and I have never had any problems with products.
I purchased this generic in lieu of Advocate to save money - expires in 2023 so its new. However I did NOT feel that the generic is as effective as the Advocate and did not combat the fleas, worms and ear scratching as effectively as the Advocate did.
Sometimes the original is the best - in this case for me anyway and even though it costs more - it saves me in dewormer and ear infections.
