 | Drontal Cat tablets remove tapeworms, hookworms and roundworms in cats and kittens. Drontal for Cats is available in two sizes, to suit all weights of cats.
Each tablet contains: PRAZIQUANTEL & PYRANTEL
Directions for use:
Drontal for Cats 8.8lb (4kg):
For cats and kittens up to 4.4lb (2kg), dose ½ tablet
For cats 4.5lb-8.8lb (2.1kg - 4kg), dose 1 tablet
For cats over 8.9lb (4.1kg), dose 1 tablet per 8.8lb (4kg) bodyweight.
Drontal for Large Cats 13.2lb (6kg)
For cats 8.9lb - 13.2lb (4.1kg - 6kg), dose 1 tablet
For cats over 13.2lb (6.1kg), dose 1½ tablets.
Treatment Recommendations
Treat kittens at 6, 8 and 12 weeks of age, then 3 monthly.
Treat adults every 3 months, or where several cats are housed together and environmental contamination may be high, as per veterinarian's recommendation.
Pregnant/lactating queens should be treated prior to mating, 10 days before kittening and 2 and 4 weeks after kittening.
Animals should be dosed on an empty stomach. Give full dose by mouth and observe the cat for several minutes following administration to make sure that the entire dose has been swallowed.
