Directions for use: Use the top of the cap to break seal of tube. Part hair between the shoulder blades until skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze tube firmly to apply solution directly to the skin.

Prefer the original
I have been buying Advocate/Advantage for my dogs for years from Joe's Pet meds since they started in fact. Company is great, reliable and easy to use and I have never had any problems with products. I purchased this generic in lieu of Advocate to save money - expires in 2023 so its new. However I did NOT feel that the generic is as effective as the Advocate and did not combat the fleas, worms and ear scratching as effectively as the Advocate did. Sometimes the original is the best - in this case for me anyway and even though it costs more - it saves me in dewormer and ear infections.
