We have used this for several years without any problems and we've got tons of mosquito's in Minnesota. If you check the fine print and compare the ingredients and percentages used are in line with Frontline Plus...a true generic in my mind.

I adopted a stray that was diagnosed with adult heartworms and microfilaria. My vet told me that I could try using a heartworm preventative to clear her heartworms. After 2 years of using Joe's Generic Heartworm med, my Girlie has tested negative for both adult heartworms and microfilaria. Saving her life from infestation and the risky/debilitating surgery to rid heartworms. Thanks Joe's Pet Meds. I will forever use and recommend your products.

Works for my dog

Date: Feb 15, 2011

We have been using this for several years with no problem. We were at the vet for something else and got the heartworm test and no worms. Why pay for expensive vet tests every year. Just make sure to dose them on time every month. Our vet tries to sell you every possible thing that they can think of and I love it when I can tell them what I think of that and that I order from another country just to avoid them. I only go when the dog is really sick or injured and for rabies shot. Darn vet costs more than my doctor. Check this out, it works.
